Religious Education Grades 6-8

Religious Education grades 6-8 Overview

“Stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

The Religious Education program for grades 6-8, seeks to develop in its students a life-long relationship with Jesus, the Church, and the parish and wider community. We are aware that to do this requires the work of many people; our parish leaders, our religious education director and the volunteers who meet our students in the classroom and on their faith journeys, the parish community who prays for and supports our young people, and most importantly, the families of our students who serve as their primary educators.

Grades 6-8

Middle School students meet one to two times a month for 75 minutes.  The meetings start in a large group and move to a smaller classroom setting.  In addition to classroom sessions both service and social opportunities are offered for our middle school students.
